Report Title: Contract Amendment with Graviton Consulting Services, Inc.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Chief Information Officer, or designee, to execute a contract amendment with Graviton Consulting Services, Inc., to increase the payment limit by $240,000 to a new payment limit of $920,000 to provide PeopleSoft technical support services and extend the term through June 30, 2025.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The cost of this contract is within the Department of Information Technology's budget. 100% User Departments.
BACKGROUND:
Historically, the PeopleSoft/Kronos Division of the Department of Information Technology has been a very difficult unit to recruit for and fill with qualified candidates due to the specific skill-set required to be successful in this position. The Department has worked with the Human Resources Department (HR) over the last several years to recruit for vacancies in this division and, for a brief period of time at the end of last year, the division was fully staffed. Since then, one of the team members has left County service which once again leaves a vacancy in this unit.
During the coming year, the Department will work with HR to open a recruitment for a candidate that meets the minimum qualifications for the County-wide classification of Information Systems Programmer and Analyst IV and possesses the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the tasks in the PeopleSoft/Kronos Division. Until there is success in recruiting a permanent employee, the Department is requesting to extend the contract with Graviton Consulting Services, Inc., which is able to assist in providing the day-to-day technical services to support the Payroll, Human Resources and Benefits Administration modules.
