RECOMMENDATIONS:

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute on behalf of the Employment and Human Services Department, a purchase order and related agreement with Articulate Global, LLC, in an amount not to exceed $18,513 for the purchase of Articulate 360 Teams for the period November 21, 2024 through November 20, 2027.

FISCAL IMPACT:

$18,512.65: 8% County General Fund; 38% State; 54% Federal, which is budgeted in FY 24-25.

BACKGROUND:

The Employment and Human Services Department (EHSD), Information Technology Unit (IT), seeks to renew the Articulate 360 software application. This software enables the department to create and deliver high-quality eLearning content by Staff Development Specialists for EHSD. This software enables Staff Development Specialists to create and curate content for distribution to all EHSD staff through the departments Learning Management System. The Articulate Online Service Agreement includes an indemnification clause from the County to Articulate, as well as a limitation of liability capping liability at the amount of fees paid to Articulate in the twelve (12) months prior to the claim arising. This vendor was selected per procurement requirements outlined in Administrative Bulletin 600.3
