Recommendation: Recommendation of the County Administrator
RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPOINT Oxanna Pajoluk to the District 3 seat on the Contra Costa Commission for Women and Girls to a term expiring on February 28, 2030, as recommended by Supervisor Diane Burgis.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None.
BACKGROUND:
The Contra Costa Commission for Women and Girls (the CCCWG) was formed to educate the community and advise the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors on issues relating to the changing social and economic conditions of women and girls in the County, with particular emphasis on the economically disadvantaged. The CCCWG’s mission is, “to improve the economic status, social welfare, and overall quality of life for women and girls in Contra Costa County.”
The District 3 seat has been vacant, applications were accepted and the recommendation to appoint the above individual was then determined.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The seat would remain vacant.
