Report Title: InfoTrack US, Inc. Contract

RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Director of Child Support Services, or designee, to execute a contract with InfoTrack US, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $170,000 to provide Legal Process Services for the period of July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This contract is fully funded by allocations from the Federal Government at 66% and State of California at 34%.
BACKGROUND:
InfoTrack US, Inc. provides legal process services for the Department of Child Support Services. These services include serving documents to parties in all counties throughout the State of California.
This contract includes a mutual indemnification provision which requires both parties to indemnify and hold harmless the other for any claims arising out of the performance of this contract. This contract also includes a limitation of liability provision that caps liability to the total fees paid in 12 months prior to the claim arising.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this action is not approved, the Department of Child Support Services will be unable to serve legal documents to parties who owe child support.
