RECOMMENDATIONS:
ADOPT Resolution approving and authorizing the Public Works Director, or designee, to fully close Maple Lane on November 4, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. through 7:00 p.m., for the purpose of neighborhood social event, Walnut Creek area. (District II)
FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact.
BACKGROUND:
The Parkmead Community Association is requesting that Maple Lane be closed on Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. through 7:00 p.m., for the purpose of an annual neighborhood "Chili Cook-Off." The event shall be conducted in accordance with all Contra Costa County Health Services guidelines. Applicant shall follow guidelines set forth by the Public Works Department.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Applicant will be unable to close the road for planned activities.
