Referral History and Update:

 

Since its formation in 2012, the Community Advisory Board (CAB) has provided recommendations to the Partnership to support improving Public Safety Realignment implementation and raise critical issues for the Partnership to consider in relation to justice reform and reentry.

 

For FY 26-27, the CAB submits the attached Policy Memo for discussion and recommends CCP members take action where appropriate in the following areas:

 

1.                     Update on the deployment of the $15 million one-time allocation from the AB 109 Reserve Fund.

2.                     Update on AB 109 departmental data collection activities

3.                     Recommendation to fund a stipend for a lived experience CAB membership seat.

4.                     Updates on CAB Subcommittees’ activities

 

The CAB looks forward to working with the Partnership to continue making progress on these recommendations and activities identified in the Policy Memo.
