Recommendation: Recommendation of the County Administrator
RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPOINT Christine Burke, Danville Resident, to the District II Seat on the In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority Advisory Committee for a four-year term with an expiration date of May 26, 2030, as recommended by Supervisor Candace Andersen.

BACKGROUND:
The Board established the In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Public Authority Advisory Committee in March 1998. Terms of membership are four years. The Advisory Committee consists of 11 members: four Consumers aged 60 or older, two Consumers aged under 60, and one member from each Supervisorial District.
Supervisor Andersen has advertised the expired seat, and received no applications. Ms. Burke has expressed her interest in continuing in the District II Seat.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The seat will be vacant.
