RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute on behalf of the County Contract #74-475-67(11) with Cragin Marriage and Family Therapy, A Professional Corporation (formerly known as Anna Cragin, LMFT), in an amount not to exceed $335,000, to provide Medi-Cal specialty mental health services to beneficiaries in Contra Costa County ages thirteen (13) and older, for the period July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2028.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Approval of this Contract will result in contractual service expenditures of up to $335,000 over a two-year period and will be funded by 40% Contra Costa Health Plan Enterprise Fund II revenues, 30% Federal Medi-Cal and 30% State Mental Health Realignment funds.
BACKGROUND:
This Contract meets the social needs of County's population by providing Medi-Cal specialty mental health services for members ages thirteen and older in Contra Costa County by providing assessment, testing, therapy and medication monitoring for treatment of anxiety, bipolar, depression, grief/loss, personality disorders, substance related disorders, and sexual and gender identity disorders. This Contractor has been providing these services as part of the Department's Behavioral Health Services Network since 2017.
This Contract is entered into under and subject to the following legal authorities: California Government Code ?? 26227 and 31000; Welfare and Institutions Code ? 5775 et seq.; Welfare and Institutions Code ?? 14680-14685; California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 9 ? 1810.100 et seq.
