Report Title:                     Purchase Order with Zoho Corporation ManageEngine Log360 for the Period of One Year From the Date the Purchase Order is Issued

Recommendation of the County Administrator Recommendation of Board Committee

RECOMMENDATIONS:

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent to execute, on behalf of the County Librarian, a purchase order with Zoho Corporation, subject to the terms of their Zoho Master Subscription Agreement, in an amount not to exceed $4,290 for the purchase of ManageEngine Log 360, for the period of one year from the date the Purchase Order is issued.

FISCAL IMPACT:

100% Library Fund.

BACKGROUND:

The Library will utilize ManageEngine Log360 to store and analyze system logs from all servers and network equipment. It will allow for greater insight into this data as it provides real time analysis and correlation to quickly identify any threats and allow for accelerated troubleshooting. It transforms unstructured system logs into a tool to better secure our systems and network.

The terms and conditions include limitation of liability and indemnification language which was reviewed by County Counsel.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If the Purchase Order is not approved, Contra Costa County Library will need to review all logs individually when troubleshooting issues, costing additional hours of work to come to resolution.
