RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE Budget Amendment No. BDA-26-01069 to appropriate $2,000,000 from the General Fund to fund a capital project.
FISCAL IMPACT:
100% General Fund
BACKGROUND:
Revenue in the amount of $2,000,000 was transferred to cost center 4413 Plant Acquisition - Probation to fund Juvenile Hall Camera System Upgrade (WH157A). Journal number JV-2608-001205 posted too late to be encumbered in the prior fiscal year, and the revenue was closed out to fund balance.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The funding provided by Probation would not be able to be applied to the project, and it would not move forward.
