Report Title: Purchase Order with General Datatech, LP for Rubrik Enterprise Edition Subscription through April 7, 2028

RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent to execute, on behalf of the County Librarian, a purchase order with General Datatech, LP, subject to the terms of their Service Agreement, in an amount not to exceed $33,026 for the renewal of Rubrik Enterprise Edition subscription, for the period April 8, 2025, through April 7, 2028.
FISCAL IMPACT:
100% Library Fund.
BACKGROUND:
Rubrik Enterprise Edition purchased through General Datatech, LP, allows the Library to reduce cyber incident impacts and allows staff to respond more quickly than through individual troubleshooting.
The Service Agreement includes limitation of liability and indemnification language which has been reviewed by County Counsel.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If the Purchase Order is not approved, Contra Costa County Library will need to review all logs individually when troubleshooting issues resulting in additional work hours to come to resolution.
