RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the County Librarian, or designee, to close the Prewett Library in Antioch on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, to coincide with the holiday closure of the Antioch Community Center to observe Abraham Lincoln’s Birthday. The Library was informed about the closure by the City of Antioch on January 28, 2025.

BACKGROUND:
The Antioch Community Center, where the Prewett Library is located, February 12, 2025, to coincide with the holiday closure of the Antioch Community Center to observe Abraham Lincoln’s Birthday. Permanent staff will be given the option to work elsewhere in the Library system or to use paid leave accruals during the closure
