RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute, on behalf of the Fire Chief, an amendment to the Participating Addendum entered into on February 10, 2026, with CDW-G under the OMNIA Partners Public Sector Purchasing Cooperative Program, to increase the payment limit by $733,162.00, thereby establishing a new total payment limit of $1,000,000.00, effective June 1, 2026, for the continued acquisition of Information Technology Solutions Products and Services.


FISCAL IMPACT:
Budgeted. 100% CCCFPD EMS Transport Fund


BACKGROUND:
The Fire District has undergone significant operational and organizational expansion over the past four years, including the acquisition and integration of East County Fire, Rodeo-Hercules Fire, and County Hazardous Materials teams. In addition, the District recently completed the remodel and opening of the new Communications Center and continues to expand facilities, including additional Fire Stations in East County. These changes have substantially increased the District's operational footprint and corresponding technology infrastructure needs.
As part of the Communications Center remodel and new server room/data center project, the Board previously approved the procurement of the Cisco User Protection Advantage Bundle. This AI-driven security solution provides a consolidated, Zero Trust-aligned platform designed to secure user identities, endpoints, email systems, and remote access. The solution enhances the District's cybersecurity posture by reducing exposure to ransomware and phishing threats while supporting secure hybrid workforce operations.
