RECOMMENDATIONS:
ACCEPT the Resignation of Barbara Vargen-Kotchevar, DECLARE a vacancy in Seat 5 on the Rodeo Municipal Advisory Council for a term ending on December 31, 2028, and Direct the Clerk of the Board to post the vacancy.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None.
BACKGROUND:
The Rodeo Municipal Advisory Council makes recommendations to the Board of Supervisors on issues and concerns related to County services provided to the unincorporated area of Rodeo. The Rodeo Municipal Advisory Council has 5 members with 4-year term limits.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The seat would not be declared vacant which would hinder the ability to recruit to fill the position and could cause quorum issues for the body.
