In the Matter of Recognizing Eric G. Suitos for 20 Years of Service to Contra Costa County

WHEREAS, Eric G. Suitos graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a degree in Economics and earned his Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Operations Management and Finance from the University of Rochester in New York; and

WHEREAS, Eric began his distinguished career with Contra Costa County in the Juvenile Dependency/Conservatorship Division of the County Counsel's Office in December 2004, and was reassigned to the General Law Division in June 2006; and

WHEREAS, on September 1, 2012, Eric was appointed as Executive Secretary to the County Counsel, a role in which he has demonstrated exceptional professionalism, dedication, and expertise; and
WHEREAS, during his tenure, Eric has served under three County Counsels - Sharon L. Anderson, Mary Ann McNett Mason, and Thomas L. Geiger - providing invaluable support and continuity to the Office; and

WHEREAS, Eric is recognized as the resident expert on the Office's 40-plus-year-old filing system, including the Yellow Dot and Red Dot files, ensuring operational efficiency and the preservation of institutional knowledge; and

WHEREAS, Eric has cultivated strong professional relationships across numerous County departments, fostering collaboration and mutual respect; and
