Report Title: Find Help Subscription Purchase Order

RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute on behalf of the Probation Department, a purchase order with Aunt Bertha (DBA Findhelp), in an amount not to exceed $10,534 for the purchase of a subscription service to a website for client support services for the period September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2027.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This purchase will be funded 100% by the General Fund.
BACKGROUND:
Since 2024, the Probation Department has partnered with Findhelp.org to expand social services in the community. Through this site, clients can easily search for and be connected to services in their area. This platform enables clients to easily search for various types of community resources, including food, housing, legal services, financial assistance, healthcare, and transportation.
By executing this purchase order, Findhelp.org will continue to support clients by providing the Probation Department with project management, system training, best practices guidance, technical support, ongoing platform maintenance, and customer success services to ensure the effective implementation and continued use of the Findhelp platform.
The terms of this agreement contain modified indemnification, limitation of liability, and disclaimer of warranties language.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If unapproved, the Probation Department would be unable to easily connect clients with the services needed.
