RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute an agreement on behalf of the County with CivicPlus, LLC, in an amount not to exceed $97,620.51 to provide website hosting, training, security, and support; analytics; and quality assurance for the County website, contracosta.ca.gov, from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Approval of this agreement will result in annual contractual service expenditures up to $97,620.51 and will be funded by 100% cable franchise fees. (100% FRANCHISE FEES)
BACKGROUND:
CivicPlus, LLC provides website hosting, training, security, and support for the County website. This agreement includes mutual indemnification and limited liability language to hold harmless both parties for any claims arising out of the performance of this contract.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If not approved, online County business operations will be negatively impacted.
