RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director, or designee, to allocate up to $48,300 from County Service Area R-7 funds for the Alamo “2026 Summer Concert Series” events at Livorna Park, Alamo Area. (100% County Service Area R-7 Funds)
FISCAL IMPACT:
100% County Service Area R-7 Funds.
BACKGROUND:
The County in partnership with the Alamo Municipal Advisory Council (Alamo MAC) presents free summer concerts at Livorna Park. A recreation sub-committee of the Alamo MAC recommends the bands each year. On November 4, 2025, the Alamo MAC reviewed and made recommendations about the bands to be presented at the 2026 Summer Events. The “2026 Alamo Summer Concert Series” will take place July 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st at 6:30 p.m. County Service Area R-7 parks and recreation funds are used to present these popular community events.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Without Board approval this event would not occur.
