IN THE MATTER OF  Recognition of the Completion of the Largest Solar Field in Contra Costa County

 

Whereas, Phillips 66 Rodeo Renewable Energy Complex has successfully developed and launched the largest solar energy field in Contra Costa County, marking a significant achievement in the region’s evolution to clean, renewable energy and

 

Whereas, this groundbreaking project represents a bold step forward in reducing the county’s carbon footprint, contributing to energy sustainability, and supporting the growth of green technologies that benefit the environment and the local economy and

 

Whereas, creation of this solar field will provide long-term benefits to the community, including cleaner air, union jobs, and establishing Phillips 66 as a leader in renewable energy innovation.

 

 

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors does hereby recognize and commend Phillips 66 for its outstanding contribution to the future of energy in Contra Costa County and extend our heartfelt congratulations on the successful completion of the largest solar field in Contra Costa County.
