Report Title: Deccan International - Contract Payment Increase

RECOMMENDATIONS:
Acting as the governing board of the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District, APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Fire Chief, or designee, to execute a contract amendment with Deccan International to increase the payment limit by $301,036 to a new payment limit of $376,295 for ongoing support of dispatch move-up software, including LiveMUM, as well as support for additional units, such as ambulances.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Budgeted. 100% CCCFPD General Operating Fund.
BACKGROUND:
Deccan International currently provides essential support to the Contra Costa Fire Protection District through its software solutions, including ADAM, BARB, LiveMUM, and DIVA. The proposed payment increase to the existing contract is necessary to cover the current overdue invoice and future service needs, ensuring that the Fire District can maintain operational efficiency and effectiveness in its dispatch and emergency response capabilities.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this request is not approved, service and support from Deccan will be interrupted.
