IN THE MATTER OF RESOLUTION HONORING PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN
CHOICE IN AGING AND FOSTERING WISHES
WHEREAS, Choice in Aging and Fostering Wishes have established an innovative partnership that brings together organizations serving older adults and foster youth, united by the belief that every individual deserves dignity, belonging, meaningful connections, and the opportunity to thrive regardless of age or circumstance; and
WHEREAS, through their collaborative efforts, Choice in Aging and Fostering Wishes are working to reduce isolation, strengthen support systems, and create opportunities for vulnerable populations by fostering intergenerational connections that enrich lives and build stronger communities; and
WHEREAS, this partnership demonstrates the power of collaboration by combining resources, expertise, volunteers, and community relationships to expand outreach, increase awareness of the unique challenges facing older adults and foster youth, and engage new community partners in service to those most in need; and
WHEREAS, the partnership exemplifies a shared commitment to building community, supporting vulnerable residents, creating meaningful relationships, and ensuring that individuals feel seen, valued, and supported throughout their lives; and
