ADOPT Resolution recognizing Christopher Vine, for his 30 years of service to Contra Costa County, as recommended by the Public Works Director.

IN THE MATTER OF RECOGNIZING the contributions of Christopher Vine, on the occasion of his 30 years of service, to Contra Costa County

WHEREAS, in April 1995, Christopher Vine began his career with the General Services Department as a temporary Groundskeeper in the Grounds Division; and

WHEREAS, on March 16, 1998, Christopher became a permanent Groundskeeper in the Grounds Division; and

WHEREAS, on April 3, 2000, Christopher was promoted to the position of Gardner in the Grounds Division; and

WHEREAS, on November 29, 2005, Christopher Vine began his career with the Public Works Department as a Laborer in the Maintenance Division; and

WHEREAS, on November 7, 2007, Christopher received a J. Michael Walford Team of the Year award for his contributions on the Rotomill/Grinding crew; and

WHEREAS, on May 1, 2008, Christopher was promoted to Maintenance Worker II; and

WHEREAS, on November 6, 2008, Christopher received a J. Michael Walford Team of the Year award for his contributions on the Chip Seal crew; and

WHEREAS, on February 1, 2013, Christopher was promoted to Maintenance Worker III; and

WHEREAS, on February 1, 2017, Christopher effectively utilized his skills and knowledge leading to his promotion to a Maintenance Worker IV; and

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors does hereby recognize and honor Christopher Vine for his 30 years of servi...
