Referral History and Update:
At its meeting on February 13, 2026, the Governing Board of the Green Empowerment Zone reviewed and approved the appointments to fill the seats for the seven (7) directors who live or work in the Green Empowerment Zone and who represent environmental or environmental justice organizations. Following the meeting, County staff were notified that one board member (Erika Siao) would not be able to accept a seat on the Board, leaving a seat vacant. The appointment of members is the decision of the Governing Board.
