Information:

At the September 9, 2024 Steering Committee meeting, Dr. Kerby Lynch of Ceres Policy Research reviewed the scope of work and timeline for the feasibility study, discussed the community engagement goals for September - October 2024, and presented data about health and wellness disparities in the African American community in Contra Costa County. Members of the Steering Committee volunteered to participate on a Listening Sessions and Survey Logistics workgroup to move forward with community engagement planning and survey creation.

Referral History and Update:

The Listening Sessions and Survey Logistics workgroup met twice since the last Steering Committee, and began brainstorming and outreaching to community partners to gauge their interest in hosting and/or co-facilitating listening sessions. The workgroup also created a draft survey.
