RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute on behalf of the County Contract Amendment Agreement #76-681-9 with GE Precision Healthcare LLC, a limited liability company, effective November 1, 2025, to amend Contract #76-681-7, as amended by Contract #76-681-8, to increase the payment limit by $961,105, from $4,573,480 to a new payment limit of $5,534,585, for additional maintenance and repair services for medical imaging equipment and systems at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center (CCRMC) and Contra Costa Health Centers with no change in the term ending January 31, 2030.

FISCAL IMPACT:
Approval of this Amendment will result in additional expenditures of up to $961,105 and will be funded 100% by Hospital Enterprise Fund I.

BACKGROUND:
CCRMC has been contracting with GE Precision Healthcare LLC, since January 2020 to provide maintenance and repair services to various medical imaging equipment and systems located at CCRMC and Contra Costa Health Centers. Medical imaging equipment/systems are technology driven and need to be serviced by service engineers who are specialized and meet standards for servicing these units. Contractor's service engineers are qualified and trained on the imaging equipment/systems manufactured by General Electric Healthcare. Ninety (90%) percent of the imaging equipment/systems are manufactured by General Electric Healthcare. Contractor has a large workforce which enables them to provide timely and efficient service support.
