BACKGROUND:
One agreement to settle pending litigation, as defined in Government Code section 54956.9, became final during the period April 1, 2026, through April 30, 2026.
La Janee Turner v. Contra Costa County, Contra Costa County Superior Court, Case No. C25-03170: On April 14, 2026, the Board of Supervisors approved a settlement in this employment case. The Board approved the settlement for $100,000 in closed session by a vote of 5-0. The settlement agreement was fully executed on April 28, 2026. The funding source is Risk Management Liability Internal Service Fund.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The report would not be accepted.
