BACKGROUND:
One agreement to settle pending litigation, as defined in Government Code section 54956.9, became final during the period May 1, 2024, through May 31, 2024.
Lynn Soloway v. County of Contra Costa, Contra Costa Superior Court, Case No. MSC22-00023: On April 9, 2024, the Board of Supervisors approved a settlement in this employment case arising out of plaintiff’s termination. The Board approved the settlement for $250,000 in closed session by a 5-0 vote. The settlement agreement was fully executed on May 2, 2024. The funding source is the Risk Management Liability Internal Service Fund.
