RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent to execute, on behalf of the County Librarian, a purchase order with Zoom Video Communications, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $10,440 for 32 Enterprise Essentials licenses and 1 Webinar 1000 license for the period March 25, 2024 through March 24, 2025.
FISCAL IMPACT:
100% Library Fund
BACKGROUND:
The Library Department is requesting approval for a purchase order with Zoom Video Communications, Inc., for 32 Enterprise Essentials licenses and 1Webinar 1000 license. Zoom is a platform that the Library uses for meetings, conferences, performer gigs, and to conduct interviews.
The Terms and Conditions of the purchase order include limitation of liability and indemnification provisions, approved by County Counsel.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If the Purchase Order is not approved, the Contra Costa County Library will not have the specific vendor services to use for meetings, conferences, performer gigs, and to conduct interviews.
