Subject: RECEIVE AND ACCEPT the Los Medanos Health Advisory Committee recommendations for additional grants to 3 agencies for the 2025-2027 Los Medanos Health Area Grants.

Information:
a. At a regularly scheduled meeting of the LMHAC on September 9, 2025, the committee was notified that:
i. One agency had declined their award due to their operating capacity. This resulted in an additional $100,000 available to LMHAC for reallocation.
ii. The LMHOC allocated $200,000 from the reserve fund with $152,653 directed towards the program proposals from the Mount Diablo Unified School District. This resulted in $47,347 to be reallocated by the LMHAC
iii. LMHOC requested LMHAC to reevaluate one program proposal based on information received by county staff relating to the agencies capability to execute the proposed program. The Advisory Committee discussed the situation and voted to rescind the award. This resulted in $100,000 to be reallocated by the LMHAC.
iv. There was $3,939 unallocated during the initial round of grant awards. In total the Advisory Committee had $251,286 to reallocate.
b. The advisory committee used the initial ranking sheet and is recommending to the LMHOC that additional grant awards be provided to the following organizations.
1. Her Story is Mine - $100,000
2. Loaves and Fishes - $100,000
3. Full Circle of Choices - $51,286
