RECOMMENDATIONS:

ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 26612 to reassign one (1) Procurement Director-Exempt (STB1), position #00021045, at salary plan and grade B85 1022 ($14769 - $17952) and its incumbent from Department 0650 to Department 0020 in the Public Works Department.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

This action will result in no fiscal impact.

 

BACKGROUND:

The Public Works Department is requesting to reassign one (1) Procurement Director-Exempt (STB1) position and its incumbent from Department number 0650, Public Works to Department 0020, Purchasing.  When the position was originally created, the position was incorrectly allocated to Org #4504, Administrative Services within the Public Works Department (0650).  The correct allocation of the position is to Org #0020 within the Purchasing Department (0020).

 

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this reassignment is not approved, salary and benefits expenses for this Procurement Director-Exempt position will be allocated to the incorrect cost center.
