Report Title: APPOINTMENT TO THE MEASURE X COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD

RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPOINT Dr. Lee Ross, resident of Lafayette, to the District II Alternate Seat on the Measure X Community Advisory Board for a term ending December 31, 2026, as recommended by Supervisor Candace Andersen.

BACKGROUND:
The Measure X Community Advisory Board was established by the Board of Supervisors on February 2, 2021 to advise the Board of Supervisors on the use of Measure X transactions and use tax funds. It consists of 22 members, composed of 15 Supervisorial District appointees (two Regular Seats and one Alternate Seat per Supervisorial District), and seven At-Large appointees.
Supervisor Andersen advertised the vacancy, received applications, met with all applicants and would like to appoint Dr. Ross as she feels he will add value to the Measure X CAB.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The seat will remain vacant.
