Report Title:                      Subscription to LinkedIn Recruiter

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute on behalf of the Human Resources Department (1) a purchase order with LinkedIn Corporation in an amount not to exceed $48,510.00, and (2) a Subscription Agreement with LinkedIn Corporation, for a vendor-hosted job posting portal for the period October 8, 2026, through October 7, 2028

RECOMMENDATIONS:

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute on behalf of the Human Resources Department, (1) a purchase order with LinkedIn Corporation in an amount not to exceed $48,510, and (2) a Subscription Agreement with LinkedIn Corporation, for a vendor-hosted job posting portal for the period October 8, 2026, through October 7, 2028.

FISCAL IMPACT:

100% General Fund. The cost of the agreement is within the Human Resources Department FY 26-27 budget and will be budgeted in subsequent years.

BACKGROUND:

The County has subscribed to LinkedIn Recruiter for several years to publish a select number of job postings that originate in GovernmentJobs.com, Inc. (dba NeoGov), a separate vendor also contracted with the County. LinkedIn Recruiter allows the County to expand its recruitment efforts and connect with qualified candidates through the LinkedIn network. The LinkedIn Subscription Agreement contains an indemnification provision from the County to LinkedIn for claims based on the County’s use of the service.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If the purchase is not approved, the County will not be able to access the vendor’s job posting system, which would significantly hinder the ability to expand recruitment efforts and reach qualified job candidates.
