RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Clerk - Recorder’s Office to issue a refund of overpayment of Documentary Transfer Tax totaling $6.60 to specified parties.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The recommendation will result in a reduction of $6.60 from the County General Fund from the 2025 - 2026 fiscal year.
BACKGROUND:
The County Clerk - Recorder received Documentary Transfer Tax Requests due to a scrivener error of overpayments from the following parties in the amounts listed below:
