RECOMMENDATIONS:
ADOPT Resolution approving and authorizing the Public Works Director, or designee, to fully close a portion of Willamette Avenue between Highland Boulevard and Purdue Avenue, on March 21, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m., for the purpose of replacement of four utility poles, Kensington area. (District I)
FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact.
BACKGROUND:
Pacific Gas and Electric Company shall follow guidelines set forth by the Public Works Department. Pacific Gas & Electric Company is requesting a road closure to replace four utility poles. The construction team indicated that a road closure is necessary for the requested work to be done safely due to the narrow road.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Applicant will be unable to close the road for planned activities.
