RECOMMENDATIONS:
ADOPT Resolution approving and authorizing the Public Works Director, or designee, to fully close a portion of Amherst Avenue between Oberlin Avenue and Princeton Avenue, on August 23, 2024 and August 24, 2024 from 7:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m., for the purpose of replacement of a utility pole and utility pole transformer, Kensington area. (District I)
FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact.
BACKGROUND:
Pacific Gas and Electric Company shall follow guidelines set forth by the Public Works Department. Pacific Gas & Electric is requesting a road closure to replace a utility pole and utility pole transformer. The construction team indicated that a road closure is necessary for the requested work to be done safely due to the narrow road.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Applicant will be unable to close the road for planned activities.
