RECOMMENDATIONS:

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director, or designee, to execute a lease amendment with STG Blume, LLC (Lessor) for 3,804 square feet of office space located at 3220 Blume Drive, Suite 140 and 145 in Richmond, for County Health Services Department - Public Health Nurses, to extend the term for five years with two (2) three-year renewal options and monthly rent in the first year in the amount of $7,608. 

 

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

Lease costs are charged to the Health Services Department. (100% General Fund)

 

 

BACKGROUND:

The Health Services Department - Public Health Nursing for West County has occupied this office since September 2013. This lease amendment will provide for the continued use of this office space until November 30, 2029.

 

 

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If the lease amendment is not approved, the Public Health Nurses group for West County will have to find a new space to relocate to which will incur relocation expenses.
