RECOMMENDATIONS:
ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 26241 to increase the hours of one (1) Registered Nurse (VWXG) position #18033 and its incumbent EE#90367 from 24/40 to 40/40 hours at salary plan and grade L32-1880 ($12,004 - $14,991) in the Contra Costa Health Department. (Represented)
FISCAL IMPACT:
Upon approval, this action will result in an annual increase of $115,561.00 with $16,882.00 in pensions included. This position is fully funded by County General Funds (100%).
BACKGROUND:
The Contra Costa Health Department, Detention Health Division is requesting to increase the hours of one incumbent from 24/40 to 40/40. Occasionally, incumbents of certain positions submit a request to their manager to reduce or increase their position hours. The manager then evaluates the request based on division operation requirements and program service needs. This incumbent requested their position hours adjustment. No clinics will be affected by this change.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this request is not approved, the department will not be able to fulfill the request of the incumbent and support the operational needs.
