RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPOINT Courtney Coon to the Fish & Wildlife Committee representative seat on the Integrated Pest Management Advisory Committee (IPMAC) to a term expiring December 31, 2028.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact for this action.
BACKGROUND:
The IPMAC was established by the Board of Supervisors in November 2009. The Fish & Wildlife Committee has had a designated seat since 2010. Susan Heckly admirably served several consecutive terms from February 2014 until her most recent term ended on February 28, 2026. The seat is currently vacant.
On March 18, 2026, The Fish & Wildlife Committee unanimously voted to nominate Courtney Coon to represent them in this seat. The proposed term end date aligns with the nominees' current term on the Fish & Wildlife Committee in accordance with IPMAC bylaws.
