LMHA funded partners are invited to share with the LMHAC their programs, accomplishments, and impact of their work within the LMHA community. These presentations provide an opportunity to learn about innovative initiatives, celebrate successes, and gain insight into how collaborative partnerships are addressing community needs and advancing the LMHA’s health priorities.
Presenter:
The Bay Compassion, Paul Long, will present an overview of their “Clean Start Homeless Outreach and Compassion Health” funded projects. Bay Compassion is a community-based nonprofit serving East Contra Costa County through programs that promote health, dignity, and stability for vulnerable residents. Their LMHA-funded initiatives include, which provides hygiene services, wellness support, and housing navigation for individuals experiencing homelessness, and which focuses on food security, nutrition education, and chronic disease prevention and management for low-income residents.
