RECOMMENDATIONS:
Acting as the governing body of the Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District, APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Chair, Board of Supervisors, to execute three grant of easements for the relocation of an approximately 6,418 square foot gas pipeline to PACIFIC GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY (PG&E) within the District's Davilla Road right of way, North Richmond area pursuant to Government Code Section 25526.6 and Section 31 of the Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District. (Project No.: WL72RP, DP 18-3007, CP# 23-23)

DETERMINE that the conveyance of said easements is in the public interest and will not substantially conflict or interfere with the District's use of the property.

DIRECT the Real Estate Division of the Public Works Department to cause said Grant of Easements and a certified copy of this Board Order to be delivered to the grantee for recording in the office of the County Clerk-Recorder.

BACKGROUND:
CenterPoint Properties is building three warehouse buildings on a 31.48 acre site comprised of 19 parcels identified as 506 Brookside Drive (Assessor's Parcel Number 409-300-037 et al) in the unincorporated North Richmond area of Contra Costa County. The development project was approved by the Planning Commission on May 25, 2022 (DP18-3007 and MS19-0009) and is located at the southeastern corner of Fred Jackson Way and Brookside Drive. The project includes various off-site improvements along Fred Jackson Way and Brookside Drive, including roadway improvements, traffic signals, sidewalks, curbs, bioretention swales, and utility connections.
