RECOMMENDATIONS:

ACCEPT the resignation of Len Welsh, DECLARE a vacancy in the District I Seat on the Assessment Appeals Board for a term ending September 5, 2027, and DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to post the vacancy.

BACKGROUND:

The Assessment Appeals Board is established to assess and equalize the valuation of the taxable property in the County for the purpose of taxation; and to perform all duties required by the State Board of Equalization and State law

 

 

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The Assessment Appeals Board may not be able to conduct routine business.
