RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE Budget Amendment No. BDA-25-00113 authorizing an adjustment to the Probation Department’s Probation Programs (0308) and Probation Care of Court Wards (0310) expenditures budget, to account for actual expenditures as part of the Department’s FY 2024-25 year-end balancing.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This action will adjust the appropriations by $670,000 within the Department’s FY 2024-25 budget. There is no additional net county cost.
BACKGROUND:
The Probation Department has identified the need for amendments to the FY 2024-25 budget to align with actual expenditures. This action adjusts the expenditure budgets to more accurately reflect the Department’s budgetary requirements for Probation Programs (0308) and Probation Care of Court Wards (0310).
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If unapproved, appropriations will not be properly reflected in the FY 2024-25 budget.
