RECOMMENDATIONS:
ACCPET the resignation of Joe Juarez Jr., DECLARE a vacancy in the Consumer Under 60 Seat #2 on the In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority Advisory Committee for a term ending March 6, 2026, and DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to post the vacancy.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact for this action.
BACKGROUND:
Declare a vacancy on the In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Public Authority Advisory Committee in the Consumer Under 60 Seat #2 held by Dr. Joe R. Juarez Jr. Dr. Juarez submitted his resignation on June 20, 2023. He was appointed to the seat on June 7, 2022 with a term ending on March 6, 2026.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority Advisory Committee may not be able to form a quorum and conduct routine business.
