FISCAL IMPACT:

There is no fiscal impact for this action.

BACKGROUND:

Brock Dubbels was appointed by the Board of Supervisors to the Member at Large #12 seat on the Advisory Council on Aging (ACOA) on May 12, 2025, with a term ending on September 30, 2026.

The ACOA provides county-wide planning, cooperation, and coordination for individuals and groups interested in improving and developing services and opportunities for older residents of the County. The ACOA provides leadership and advocacy on behalf of older adults and serves as a channel of communication and information on aging.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The seats will not be declared vacant and new appointments to the positions will not be able to be made. This could cause issues with achieving quorum for the Council and potentially impact their ability to hold meetings.
