Report Title: Approve and Authorize the Purchasing Agent to execute an amendment with Quadient Leasing USA, Inc.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, amendment No. 3 to a participating addendum with Quadient Leasing USA, Inc., to extend the term through May 14, 2027, for mailing equipment, supplies, and ancillary maintenance services at various County locations under the terms of a cooperative purchasing contract awarded by the State of Arizona, through NASPO cooperative program, Countywide. There is no fiscal impact associated with this action beyond the previously approved contract amount of $800,000.

BACKGROUND:
Contra Costa Purchasing Services is requesting approval of amendment No. 3 to the Participating Addendum, to extend the term through May 14, 2027, for the lease of Mailing Equipment, Related Supplies, Maintenance, Software Licenses, IT Products and Services offered through Quadient Leasing USA, Inc. Products are guaranteed through the master contract awarded by the State of Arizona, State Procurement Office in conjunction with NASPO ValuePoint, Arizona Contract No. CTR058809. Approval of amendment No. 3 between Contra Costa County and Quadient Leasing USA, Inc., allows the County to continue to obtain guaranteed pricing available through the State of Arizona, State Procurement Office in conjunction with NASPO ValuePoint, Arizona Contract No. CTR058809 contract, and support additional County Departments with mailing equipment, related supplies, maintenance, software licenses, IT products and services, and provide discounts off published list prices.
