Provide an update on returned funds from the original $15 million in one-time AB 109 Excess Funds, including the amount available for reallocation to approved providers.
Referral History and Update:
In 2024, CAB recommended allocating approximately $15 million in one-time AB 109 Excess Funds to support housing, behavioral health, employment, and pre- and post-release engagement services. CAB subsequently voted to identify providers for reallocation of returned funds. The Policy & Budget Subcommittee is reviewing proposed reallocation amounts for the selected providers.
