RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute on behalf of the County Contract Amendment #74-704-1 with Contra Costa Interfaith Transitional Housing, Inc. (dba Hope Solutions), a non-profit corporation, effective March 1, 2026, to amend Contract #74-704, to increase the payment limit by $130,000, from $870,000 to a new payment limit of $1,000,000, for additional housing and case management, and property management services for adults and families eligible for Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) housing and who are referred by the County with no change in the term ending June 30, 2026.

FISCAL IMPACT:
Approval of this Contract Amendment will result in additional expenditures of up to $130,000 funded 100% by MHSA funds. (No rate increase)

BACKGROUND:
This Contract meets the social needs of the county's population by providing housing options to support adults and families who are eligible for services under MHSA. Contractor will provide up to ten (10) housing units for adults and families who have been assessed and referred for services by the Behavioral Health Services Division (BHSD). Contractor's services also include case management and property management to assist in housing stability plan development, supportive services referrals, housing placement, lease management, rent collection, unit inspections, maintenance support, and landlord relations.

This Contract is entered into under and subject to the following legal authorities: California Government Code ? 26227 and 31000.
