RECOMMENDATIONS:

CONSIDER accepting a report on the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Public Housing Agency Recovery and Sustainability (PHARS) Initiative.

 

BACKGROUND:

Attached to this Board order are documents concerning both the PHARS process as a whole and how PHARS relates to the Housing Authority specifically.

 

Staff will discuss these documents with the Board at the August 11, 2026, meeting. The PHARS process is directly related to the public housing repositioning.
