Report Title: Library Closure List for 2024

RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the County Librarian, or designee, to close all branches of the County Library according to the holiday and training schedule outlined in the attached "2024 Library Closures" list.

None
BACKGROUND:
Every year in the Fall, the County Administrator's Office sends out a list to all department heads of the holidays that will be observed during the following calendar year. Using this information, an annual Library Closures list is created and submitted (attached) to the Board of Supervisors for approval.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The libraries will remain open and staff will not be able to enjoy the same list of holidays that other county employees are able to observe.
