Report Title: Contract #74-375-15 with Rainbow Community Center of Contra Costa County

RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute on behalf of the County Contract #74-375-15 with Rainbow Community Center of Contra Costa County, a non-profit corporation, in an amount not to exceed $895,898, to provide Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) services to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning and Intersex+ (LGBTQI+) population in Contra Costa County for the period July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Approval of this Contract will result in annual budgeted expenditures of up to $895,898 for FY 2024-25 and will be funded 100% by Mental Health Services Act-Prevention and Early Intervention revenues.
BACKGROUND:
This Contract meets the social needs of the county's population by providing a community-based social support program designed to decrease isolation, depression and other risk factors among members of the LGBTQI+ community residing in Contra Costa County. The Contractor has been providing these services since July 1, 2009. This Contract is entered into under and subject to the following legal authorities: California Government Code ?? 26227 and 31000. The Behavioral Health's Quality Management, Utilization Management and Contract Monitor Staff meet on a regular basis to ensure monitoring and performance measures in the contract are upheld. This Contract was approved by Health Services Personnel to ensure there is no conflict with labor relations.
